By completing the registration form at left and taking part in the
2023 Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade, participants hereby release, discharge and hold harmless the Tarrant County Veterans Council, the Veterans Day Committee, the City of Fort Worth and all persons affiliated with the event from all claims of damages, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever, in part and in entirety, in any manner arising or growing out of my/our organization’s participation in this event.
Participants also agree to this release on the applicant's behalf and that of the total participants in my group, float or organization. Participants are hereby informed of this waiver of responsibility, and it is acknowledged by each member of the organization, group, club or entity. Full permission is given for the use of name, group and photograph in connection with this event. All participants agree to abide by the rules and guidelines established by the Parade Committee as posted on the parade website.
As an historical precedent, the Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade has been and will continue to be a non-partisan, apolitical event conducted solely in the interest of the Greater Fort Worth community and military veterans of North Texas.
Therefore, no sales, solicitations or related campaign activities – to include posting of political advertisements, distribution of campaign literature, or organizations advertising the endorsement of a political party or candidate– will be allowed on the parade route or in any parade assembly area. Refusal to comply with this guidance may require notification of authorities and the confiscation of such materials or detention of individuals involved.
